In collaboration with Pioneer DJ's Toraiz brand, we embarked on an exhilarating journey to create a launch video for their groundbreaking music production product, the SQUID (SeQUencer Inspirational Device). Designed to blend functionality with creative stimulation, the SQUID represents a new era in multitrack sequencing within the TORAIZ series of musical instruments and production gear.

Our concept for the launch video aimed to showcase how users could take control of their workflow and unleash their creativity with the SQUID. We wanted to provide a clear and visually exciting demonstration of how the SQUID could serve as the heartbeat of both studio and live setups, connecting all instruments seamlessly.

The resulting film takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride through the creative process, with a music producer at the helm, creating a live track on the fly. Through seamless transitions between different genres and styles of music, we highlighted the versatility of the SQUID in inspiring musical exploration.

Central to the film's narrative were literal beams of creative energy, emanating from the SQUID and visually representing the control and synchronization of various pieces of equipment. These beams of energy not only added a visually captivating element to the performance but also effectively communicated the product's functionality in a cohesive and synchronized manner.

To further enhance the creative and cutting-edge feel of the video, we filmed the performance live and utilized scanning lasers for lighting, resulting in a visually unique and technologically advanced aesthetic. The combination of live performance, innovative lighting techniques, and dynamic visuals resulted in a launch video that not only showcased the capabilities of the SQUID but also captivated and inspired viewers with its creativity and energy.
