In collaboration with Pioneer DJ, we had the exhilarating task of producing an energetic, fast-paced performance video to introduce the groundbreaking rekordbox lyric function in rekordbox DJ software. Our goal was to showcase the excitement and innovation of this new feature through an electrifying performance, seamlessly integrating the software-generated video lyric graphics into the visual experience.

The video features an in-house DJ delivering a high-energy performance, with large video screens displaying the mesmerizing lyric visualizations generated by the rekordbox lyric function. To enhance the dynamism of the video, we employed motion design techniques to seamlessly integrate these lyric graphics into the footage. Through meticulous post-production work, we composited and motion-tracked the lyric visualizations onto the live screens, creating a cohesive and immersive visual experience.

Developed in collaboration with COTODAMA, the rekordbox lyric function allows DJs to display visualizations of track lyrics in real-time via monitors or projectors when using the rekordbox DJ Plus Pack. These animations are generated automatically by the software and can be customized to create a personalized look, adding a new dimension to DJ performances.

As the first DJ tool in the world to visualize the lyrics of songs being played, rekordbox lyric represents a significant advancement in DJ software technology.
